Not too sure if the Native Americans were too happy with it. -- posted by aiabgold » Gibson0817 - Re: Re: Re: Poor guy As far as I can determine the Indians did not have a problem with the presence of the British or the Americans. They liked to trade, especially for finished goods such as blankets and of course rifles. They generally got along well with the trappers. It wasn't until mobs of people started coming west after the gold rush that attitudes started to change.-- posted by Gibson0817
