» celfydd - wonderful and timely article

Susan, thanks for the extremely appropriate and timely article. Sometimes the only way to deal with something so appalling there are no words to describe it is through images. I feel very lucky, but there's still no easy way to get over the shock and fear. If I paint something, I will share it. Thanks again--
Sarah

Thanks Sarah for your post. If you paint something, please don't hesitate to send it in. Take a picture of it with a digital camera, or take a photo of it and scan it into the computer. No worries that the resolution need to be good.

I myself am in the process of setting up multiple painting surfaces so that I can let my emotions flow.

Susan

» gret - suffering

Guernica is so appropriate to bring up, Susan. Thank you. I keep thinking of the German Expressionists, too... Thanks again. Sometimes words cannot express one's feelings, and this is certainly one of those periods, for a lot of us.

» CarolWallace - How fortunate we all are

One reason we decided to run the Black Tuesday event was to give our editors an outlet for expressing their own shock and grief. I have felt forunate from the beginning that I had a medium and an outlet for expressing my emotions. And so do you and so many of your readers.

I encourage those of you who possess a talent that I would love to have to use it now. It really is one good and constructive step on the path to healing.
