Have you covered *this* topic?

» Dan_Ellsworth - General idea / Specifically buzzards First, the general idea. Congratulations, belatedly, on being over 100 articles strong. That is my excuse for inquiring here, rather than reviewing all the article descriptions, for a specific place, event, or other topic. And it need not be just me. Maybe others want to know whether you've "done" the Albino Pumpkin Festival in Blanchette, Ohio. (I just made that up to give the idea.)Next, my specific question. Have you ever attended, or written about, the March 15 return of the buzzards to Hinckley? (The "festival" is the first Sunday *after* March 15, but I'm more interested in the actual return date.) The swallows returning to Capistrano is probably too expensively distant for us, but a reliable Ohio annual natural event is within reach. In fact, probably tens of millions of people live within a day's drive of Hinckley; fortunately, not all will be there. -- posted by Dan_Ellsworth » ddstresing - It's a worthy event Dan, thanks for visiting, and thanks for the idea! (Thanks for the "scare" too--for a minute, I was worried, as I'd never heard of the Albino Pumpkin Festival!)"Buzzard Days" are indeed worth a visit, although I cannot speak for how Hinkley compares to Capistrano. Perhaps next spring I'll revisit the perch (ha, ha) and post an article about it. Hope the Michigan DOT is treating you well. Best ~ Diane -- posted by ddstresing
