in Columbus, too, but as a resident of Southern Ohio now, I can vouch for it as a nice place to be. Was glad to see your article featuring it! My mom used to make rhubarb pie and also raisin pie.

» ddstresing - What about Mince Meat pie?

I didn't like it--at all--but it was a staple at my grandma's gatherings. When I mention it, most people up here (northern Ohio) haven't heard of it. Nor have they heard of Grandma's Seven-layer Pie...which was much better than mince meat. It also guaranteed an almost-instant toothache.

Thanks for stopping by, Sharon. Come back!
