Hi Suite Friends,
Rick made it thru the 13 hour surgery, there are a few problems but the doctors are keeping a close watch over him. The good news 90% of the cancer is gone, the tumor is out and after biopsy reports come back negative, we can officially say the cancer is 100% gone. Thank You for you kind thoughts and prayers, you helped us get to point. I'll update again in a few days. God Bless

Rick has had some rough times since his surgery, the good news is he is on his way out of the ICU, and the cancer removal was successful. The next steps are getting his lungs strong enough and taking baby steps to start Rick eating food by mouth once more. It's a long haul, but I am confident Rick will be home for New Years. A new Year and a renewed sense of life and spirit. God bless you all for you kind thoughts and prayers. Happy Holidays.
