Hi Virginia,
I'm grateful for your kind words. The little angel is my great or grand niece Amber Judith Lynn. And yes, there is a very fine line not to be over stepped by grandparents.

Hi Deb,
When do you find time to write with 5 children still at home? I commend you on your efforts for the disabled. I am researching for links for an upcoming article to help grandparents of disabled grandchildren. Any help you are able to offer - will greatly be appreciated. Thanks for stopping by and may God bless you and your family. Happy Thanksgiving!

What excellent advice, Deb. I have never believed in spanking either, and yelling and threatening just makes things worse. A little kindness goes a long way, and yes, always let the child you that you don't like their behaviour, at certain times, but that you still love them, no matter what. Well, you covered it so well in the article, Deb. I think every parent and grandparent should read it.

Hope you are doing well, Deb!

Happy Birthday Renie,
I appreciate your comments of approval on this particular article. I was an abused child and did not receive positive comments in my home. My teachers and neighbors were the people who helped me feel good about myself and succeed. I will email soon with an update on Rick's extensive surgery scheduled early December. Take care and God bless, hugs to you and yours, How nice your family can celebrate your birthday with you, enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend.
