» erin63 - providing daycare for your grandchild

I would just like to mention to all the grandparents who do provide daycare to their precious grandchildren to please consider the feelings of your other grandchildren whom you do not watch. My child is almost completely ignored by her grandmother because the grandmother is so involved in her other grandchild. The other grandchild walks around the house telling my child that all the toys are hers, and the bed is hers, and the special cup, plate, and utensils are hers. My child feels so left out. Please, when the child walks out the door with his or her parents, then your job is done for the day, you don't have to tell the parents of the other grandchildren every detail of what you do together. And birthday parties and holidays should be off limits too, the childs parents are in attendance, so let them take care of the child at those times.
sorry to be so abrubt ladies, but it is something I had to get off my chest.
