» Renie_Burghardt - Springtime Fun!

Hi Deb, what a wonderful article! When my granddaughters come to visit, we walk in the woods, and try to indentify wild flowers. They love to collect rocks, too, and take the best ones back to the city with them. We have taken up learning the names of the trees in "Nana's" woods, and have a special "granddaddy" white oak that we love. This oak is ancient, and so wide that it takes three of us holding hands to encircle and "hug" it. So when they arrive, the first thing they want to do is go and hug the "granddaddy" oak! There are so many simple pleasures to enjoy with grandchildren, aren't there? Your suggestions are great! Thank you for a most enjoyable article. Happy Mother's Day!

Renie

Hi Renie,
Glad you enjoyed the article, I had fun writing it, my granddaughter helped with some of her favorite activities - bubbles, clouds and gardens.
Thanks for sharing and hugging the "granddaddy" oak, such a wonderful experience for you and your grandchildren to have and a forever memory when you are apart. Enjoy the rebirth of spring - Have a very Happy Mother's Day.

and you've certainly written an article I know will be fun for both grandma and grandkids. We love to spend time doing things with our grandchildren.

What a wonderful great grandma. Singing is fun and I do that with my grandkids, too.

Nothing better!
