» Renie_Burghardt - Springtime Fun! Hi Deb, what a wonderful article! When my granddaughters come to visit, we walk in the woods, and try to indentify wild flowers. They love to collect rocks, too, and take the best ones back to the city with them. We have taken up learning the names of the trees in "Nana's" woods, and have a special "granddaddy" white oak that we love. This oak is ancient, and so wide that it takes three of us holding hands to encircle and "hug" it. So when they arrive, the first thing they want to do is go and hug the "granddaddy" oak! There are so many simple pleasures to enjoy with grandchildren, aren't there? Your suggestions are great! Thank you for a most enjoyable article.
