I loved the article. I am also of Norwegian descent (alas, only half - other is German) I currently live in Iowa where St. Pat's Day is greatly celebrated. But in my home town of Wanamingo, Minnesota they heartily celebrate May 17 (I can't spell the Norwegian word, sorry) They have a parade and everything. I wish I was closer so I could attend. Decorah, IA is about an hour from here and I want to get to the Verstheim Museum. I hear it is great. Keep the article coming.-- posted by smaherblady
