Hi Diana,
Enjoyed your rose article. Of course, we don't have to worry about the cold here in California, but I am battling mildew and brown spot -- thanks mostly to that lingering El Nino-type weather that has kept things unusually cool and moist here!
I finally received some information about joining the Garden Writers Association of America, which you requested quite some time ago. What I need is an address to mail it to. If you can respond, I will be glad to get it to you. By the way, I will be attending the Garden Writers annual conference in San Diego. It celebrates GWAA's 50th anniversary, and runs from August 7-11 in San Diego. If anyone is interested or wants more information, please let me know at California Gardening. Thanks!

I'd love to go thisyear - but San Diego is a bit steep for my budget considering the high pay I get for my garden writer's job. ;-)
