» LadyB - Well thank you! For doing that article and answering SO many of the questions that have always swum about in my head about those suspicious-looking ads! Now. Answer me one more. How DEEPLY does the little beast till? I'd always figured if they're as LIGHT as the 'smiling lady' makes them look, (and I guess as you say...they aren't!) how could they POSSIBLY bite in deeply enough to do any good? (Or is that 'drag bar' optional equipment too?) -- posted by LadyB » firelady - A lady's tiller The particular model I bought does a pretty good job. It will till about 8-10 inches deep. Pulling back on the tiller and making it dig in helps. I had to play around with it to get the hang of it, and it does take a little "beef" to handle, but I am really pleased with the results.-- posted by firelady
