» biogardener - and happy early spring

<img src="/files/topics/902/files/snowdrops220x157.jpg" width=220 height=157 alt="Snowdrops, lifesize" align=right>I brought you the first champion of spring in my native Germany which pushes through the snow as early as the last week in January.

Your given name is an alternate version of the name Linda. It is derived from the Germanic adjective "lind" meaning "gentle, mild." The word has come to mean "beautiful" in Spanish. William is the "resolute guardian" and Williamson, of course, is his son.

Your birthday is shared by Donna Dunne of "Being Thrifty". I hope you will join her birthday party.

Lynne,

I brought to you a butterfly
To remind you spring is near.
I hope you have a lovely day
And happiness all year.

Happy Birthday.
