» Barbara Nicholson Bell - So true! What you said about posting on GenWeb, et al, is very true. The very first time I posted there asking for information on the family name "Crego", I discovered a hitherto-unknown cousin and branches of the family I never knew about. This cousin is an avid geneologist and has since provided me with lavish amounts of information from his research. One thing he does which is also a wonderful idea is circulate an annual update of his findings to all members of the family with whom he has contact. We are all encouraged to send him new bits of information for the next newsletter. And he gives us full credit! LOL! -- posted by Barbara Nicholson Bell » aggie80 - Re: So true! In response to message posted by bici:Ah! The Family Newsletter! A fun way to communicate what is happening in the various groups and try to keep everyone up-to-date on all those key dates and occurances! We get one out three or four times a year. Fun stuff all the way around and allows the non-techie types to be in on the action. While eMail is great, there are those that don't have access and aren't likely to move in that direction. We certainly want to keep them in the loop and learn from them. -- posted by aggie80
