hoping you can help...we went to the Carole King "Tapestry" tribute organised by Jan Preston
at the Harbourside Brasserie in Sydney on Friday 19th Feb. It was part of the Go
Girl festival for women's music...
Fab it was too
each artist did one song and we were blown away by this New Zealand
girl...amazing voice... early to mid 20's...
the only name we got was Carmen... the compere said she was making a bit
of a hit on the local scenein Sydney at the moment
well... we'd love to catch her again, but can't seem to find out who she
is...
do you know who she is?
does she play in a band ?
is she a solo act?
is she playing now?
we'd love to go to a gig if she's still here or buy a cd if there's one out
any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey Marktho,I know who Carla Werner is. I live in Sydney and she has been a regular to the music scene for 2 years there, but in the last 6 months hasn't been doing much. I know you emailed in March, but reply to me if you need to know anymore about her. She is in LA at present recording her debut album with producer Carmen Rizzo, and from what i hear, she's pretty excited about it...
