» michdam - wanted cashew trees

I am a student who is researching information on cashew production for my thesis. Please if anybody could point me in the direction of a supplier of either seeds or trees.

A possible source of information on where to get seeds is:

CUinfo-admin@cornell.edu

They have planted an experimental plot including Cashews. If you are in New Zealand, this link to Cornell University, with access to the Department of Horticulture and Floriculture, may not be of much help.
Another possible source is:

http://www.seedman.com./

If they do not carry the seeds themselves, they do have a page for requesting information on availability from other site users.

» LyndaH - Cashew Nuts

Hi,

You can buy cashew nut trees from The Tropical Research Nursery in Northcote, Auckland. Phone: 09 480 5148. Give them a call and ask if they know of anyone trying to grow them as a commercial crop.

Good luck!
