"You only get five seconds to make a good first impression," is a phrase I always remember, though I don't remember who said it. How you feel about yourself has all to do with how you proceed in this world. I know I feel better when I get my hair cut or get a new outfit. And even if it's just for yourself and not the outside world, that's okay, too.You are absolutely right on with this. I have seen it work numerous times.
