A Sermon For Richard: Re: Dang!!
This archived discussion is "read only".
» RichardSpeaks - Re: Dang!! In response to Pinky102First, finally saw the picture of Yupper. Cute! Torquemada was right in this regard: perfection i.e. Jesus, does not know how imperfection lives. It has no real concept. Imperfection is the bridle veil of the universe. It wears it well, but it seeks to share it, with its creatures, its worlds, its doctrines, dogmas and theories--even its gods. But Jesus did not share in the imperfection of those he was "called" and "created" to save. He said to cast all our cares upon him. To do that means we no longer grow. We no longer stretch. We need to be imperfect in order to reach, to grab, to correct. God would have been wiser to send Lucifer the Fallen, the Imperfect as the savior. (Actually, he did. In the Garden.) We need an imperfect friend who understands, not a perfect savior who doesn't. Torque was right, though misguided. And yes, Pinky, you need to do a thread on this issue. I'm finished. -- posted by RichardSpeaks
