Yah, but in the middle of the ocean just crossing the equator? You'll need a life line. Don't worry, some good boatswain will save you. We don't let no dollies drown on this ship. In fact, I bet you're already back aboard. smile

In response to Look Here posted by Pinky102:

This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Richard is my neighbor!.. My love is benevolence.. Its the same for you too Pinky, although, I do not really like you that much. But, I can still have love, or that is to say, benevolence for you!.. No where in the Bible is it commanded of me to like you or anyone....

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

But, this is what divides those who 'love' and those who follow God's command to love!

In the immediate post above, Wendell writes: "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Richard is my neighbor!.. My love is benevolence.. Its the same for you too Pinky, although, I do not really like you that much. But, I can still have love, or that is to say, benevolence for you!.."

Eat these words of yours from your prior post above, Wendell:

"Hmmm.. Well, I would be lying if I said, I loved you, because - I do not love you! However, as bad as that sounds, it really is not. Love, in the sense of benevolence is less, earthly, and more spiritual (godly love). The problem with this is, that too would be false, for even though I know you understand and offer benevolence, we stand in complete disagreement on 'God' and 'truth' and so, to me, that benevolence is only natural and earthly, not born from above.... Therefore, I use the word - like, for that is more true (for me)".

smile

That's okay, we're all human here--even you.

That's a life line for you, Wendell. Grab it and the Boatswain will pull you aboard.

eat them? ha! I said them!.. The confusion, is only in your mind!.... for which, I am not so worried about what you *think*... While you are seeking answers, maybe one day you will come to learn, just what has been saidsmile....

As I have already said, the bible makes no demand of me to like you or anyone! If you think it does, maybe you would show us....??...

I was wondering who would pick up on the Love Command of Jesus. Also, He said to love our enemies. He didn't say don't have any.

By the way, thanks for your responses to Digital Savior in the other article discussion. He/she still has not re-responded. I think we freaked him/her out, don't you?

And just so you all know, I use this venue to get all my frustrations out. As a minister, I don't talk face to face with people the way we discuss stuff here. This is my outlet. If I sound cynical, so be it; if I sound over-zealous, that's the way it shall be. In the meantime, sounds like you guys are doing the same thing. Right?

Don't give it a second thought, Dick. We're all in it together.

The family of man?

Hey, Wendell.

I down loaded that ad blocker. Now what do I have to do to get it activated?

Maybe you'd write the instructions down in a "Here's how to do it for dummies" post.

smile

its a good ad blocker.. Simply open the file (double click)*Adfree32* (should be in Winzip). Then, open the winzip file and double click on adfree.msi. It will install with a few prompts. If you do not have Winzip, here is a free site for WinZip 8.1: http://www.mrfreefree.com/free/winzip/1/#

I still don't like yah.

can't say that I blame yahsmile

When I was in 4th grade, I learned that the slang word 'dick' was not nice. I have refused to go by that nickname ever since. Thank you for never using it again in reference to me. I am truly grateful
