Hi Tina,
Many years ago when I was a history undergradd I researched the Louisiana Purchase legislation in the Congressional Record. I was shocked to find Congress meeting on December 25th! Christmas was not a legal holiday in the early 1800s.
I am saddened to hear that you are leaving both your topic and as ME. I wish you all the best in the new year and always. Thanks for all your help.
