» Sunbear - Autumn in New Hampshire

Hi Tina,

I was visiting your site to see if you had posted any new articles. I had read this one before, and I think it is a great autumn article.

However, I could have sworn that I left a message here. Apparently, I did not.

One of these days, Joyce and I really must take New England vacation. I have read so much about New England, especially the literature, that I feel as if I have lived there.

I really did enjoy this essay. There are so many articles written about the beauty of Fall that it is hard to be original. I thought you handled the description with a deft, sensuous touch.

Hello Tom,

You did visit and you did post! Autumn in New Hampshire is also published at the TravelSuite under the title Autumn Glory in New Hampshire. That is the version where you posted. I'm sorry for the confusion. Here is the URL:

I hope some day you and Joyce will get to visit. I think you would like New England.

Thank you for posting here. Your post made my day!!! I appreciate it very much. smile

Tina,

What a beautifully written ode to autumn (my favorite season--my only complaint its being too short).

Thank you, Pamela. I agree with you, autumn is too short and would add that winter is too long! smile

Christina,

Thanks for the trip down memory lane! I grew up in NJ and went to school in upstate NY; my brother was in school at the same time in NH. During the fall months I always drove up to see him just to see the sights.

How I miss fall! Its just not the same in AZ.

This really gets me in the spirit, Tina, and what perfectly beautiful pictures. Some of our leaves are starting to fall early, but we have to wait till early November usually for color.

Thank you, Lee. I can see November is the time to head your way. Around here, by the time November is underway, the leaves are gone and the sky is gray!!

This is a "knock your socks off" article. The photos are breathtaking, too. I've spent other cyber falls with you, but really enjoyed this one.
