I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, too!! :-) Tina -- posted by Tina_Coruth » Ophelia40 - Ladybugs... Hi Tina,I really enjoyed this article; I had no idea that you were being invaded. They are kinda cute though, aren't they? When you wrote about them hurling themselves at the glass, it made me think of Texas in June. The June bugs hurl themselves at the glass and it's really a bit creepy. Of course, they are far less cute than ladybugs. Anyway, I look forward to reading more about your neck of the woods. I really enjoy your writing style. Plus, could anywhere be prettier than New Hampshire in the fall? Warm regards, Lee -- posted by Ophelia40 » Tina_Coruth - Re: Fly away home In response to message posted by cmborris:Hi Cynthia, LOL -- You're right -- it works especially well with kids! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will visit again. Actually, you stopped by just in the nick of time. From your signature, I see your topic may very well be the medicine I need after 24 hours with the kids and the ladybugs - I'll be visiting soon!!! In response to message posted by Ophelia40:Hi Lee, There's no doubt about it -- June bugs hurling themselves at the window definitely outcreep lady bugs hurling themselves at the window!!! I love your topic! As you may have guessed, I just discovered it through the Travel Center. I enjoy your articles. Thank you for your kind words. You sure made my day! :-) Tina -- posted by Tina_Coruth » Tina_Coruth - Re: Thank you for such an interesting article! In response to message posted by lana98:Hi Lana, I hope that if the ladybugs reach your area that they will stay outside where they do the most good! LOL Thank you for stopping by and for your good Thanksgiving wishes. It's always a pleasure to have you visit. I wish happiness and joy for you and your family as well. Take care. :-) Tina -- posted by Tina_Coruth » biogardener - same old story Same old story. That is what happens when man thinks he is smarter than God, when he tries to solve problems with his own limited knowledge. Examples:
The list of man's blunders against the naturally established order is endless. It is bad enough when foreign organisms are introduced accidentally. For people to introduce them on purpose is unpardonable. I really should write an article on the topic. It fits my topic of Natural Health perfectly. -- posted by biogardener » Tina_Coruth - Re: same old story In response to message posted by biogardener:Hi Traute, Yes, we have lived to regret fooling with nature. But this time, nature fooled us! Our attempts to introduce the Asian Ladybug failed. The ladybugs hopped a ship in Asia and entered the US at New Orleans without our design. Apparently, New Orleans agreed with them. They made it home and spread out and headed north! Fortunately, they are beneficial -- just a pain to have "inside" the house!!! As to our blunders, that would make a great article. We certainly have caused harm to our health by trying to control nature! Thank you for stopping by. It's good to see you Traute! I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.
