» Tina_Coruth - Thank you, John

Thank you, John, for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment. I'm glad you liked the article. I think it's the smaller stories like these that bring our ancestors into focus as real people -- that made it all the more interesting to write.

I hope you will visit again.

» Tina_Coruth - Hi Betty,

Hi Betty, I'm so happy you stopped by and thank you for your kind words.

My NH pictures, outside of my personal photos, are licensed from Damselsoft. They made them for me from their screensavers. They have great screensavers which include quite a wonderful collection of New Hampshire scenery. You can see some samples at http://www.damselsoftware.com

If you are interested photos other than NH subjects, here is a very nice place to get them free: http://www.clipartguide.com/clipart_phot...

Thanks again, for visting, Betty!

» Red - Christina, I enjoy...

your topic a great deal as well and am so glad that you discovered my topic. Through that, we have been able to forge a friendship even though we are from different countries. I have a great deal of respect for your country as well. There are many parts of it that are sooo beautiful.

Autumn will soon be coming to New England and your lovely New Hampshire. I wish I could visit. I have been there in the fall and the colored leaves are so magnificent, though they are here too. But your rolling hills make it even more special. I can remember stopping by the road to gaze across a panoramic view of woods painted by our friend Jack Frost. Awsome experience.

Take care and we will talk soon.

» Tina_Coruth - What a nice surprise!

What a nice surprise! Thank you for visiting again, Mary.

Sounds like a wonderful Autumnal sight -- I can just imagine the colors kissed by the frost. Hopefully, Mariah will be able to get some similar photos this year. If so, I will post them!

Thanks again, Mary, you are such a good friend.

» Red - Christina, if Mariah...

gets some great photos, be sure to post them. I would love to visit your woods after nature has painted them from the colors on her palette. That would be wonderful.

I hope all is well with you and thanks for another great article. I am looking forward to your next one.

» Tina_Coruth - Thanks Mary!

Thanks Mary! I will definitely post the photos if they come out. Mariah usually takes good pictures, so I am hopeful.

My next article is part of your Childhood Memories Event, which I am very pleased to join. I have already read some of the articles, and they are wonderful! I know this will be a great success!

» BuckyRea - Excellent article!

Tina,

I just bumbled across your Indian Stream article. What a fantastic story from an unfortunately forgotten corner of history. I was particularly pleased to see that one of the trouble-makers was a distant ancestor of mine! I can only aspire someday to create an international incident that's this much fun. Thanks for this history lesson.

Thank you Bucky Rea! What a small world. It must be fun to know you're related to someone who played an important part of an historical event! Wow! I'm so glad you stopped by and commented. Thank you.
