» plox - Re: Do you have a Sixth Sense example?
In response to message posted by dequizq:I think almost everyone has had some experience of a "sixth sense". Making an accurate guess as to who is on the other end of the phone line is a common experience.
Why don't you give a personal example to break the ice?

In response to message posted by plox:Certainly to break the ice I'll be most happy to begin with an experience of Sixth Sense phenomena, but I do have many of them and can never tell what is most interesting to other folks.
While in college, I raised my five children simultaneously to seeking education and employment, this meant my time was divided between areas of importance. The Sixth Sense was something I relied upon to manage a life that, at times, was so splintered.
Sitting in class, in Santa Maria, California, studying Court and Conference Reporting we had just settled in to a session on Legal Terminology. The professor was mid-sentence and as students we were focussedssed on note-taking.
Suddenly I felt a compulsion to go home, an overpowering sense Desere'tere't, my daughter, needed me right at that moment caused me to begin packing my booksstenographgraph machine to head home. The instructor inquired of me what I was doing, he was an individual who practiced meditation on a regular basis-so when I said my daugDesere'tere't needs me, I just got the feeling to go to her-he said, "by all means go now."
Our town, Los Alamos, was only fifteen minutes away. After driving it in under fifteen minutes, I went immediately toward the elementary school and on my way there Desere'tsere't walking along the side of a community road. I stopped and loaded her in the car and proceeded to the school. They had just begun to miss her and while I was en route they had called the college to alert meDesere'tsere't was missing.
Fortunately I had already retrieved her and at the tender age ofDesere'tesere't could have suffered some negative consequences had I not listened to my inner voice.
I learned, and grew to believe, we all have an innepromptingsromptings, divinations, psychic links, whisperings from our spiritual divinities, and/or the Holy Ghost prompting us; whichever concept we adhere to-we all have these intuitions, if we follow them, acknowledge them, and move toward them we all benefit.
Now let's hear your stories, and my apologies for the length of time it has taken me to respond!
