I am really enjoying writing this series of articles.

The women who helped build Nevada are fascinating, and tenacious. With all the changes that have marked the growth of Nevada, these women had to be strong and determined.

I hope you'll enjoy all four articles. The hardest part for me? Trying to narrow the number of women on my list in order to suit the series!

Kathleen, thanks so much for giving us a glimpse into the lives of these women from Nevada. Their stories are intriguing. I especially liked the one about Dat-So-La-Lee, who reminds me of Canada's Victoria Callihou.
