Okay, the seasons passed the halfway mark. We've gotten a good look at all the top candidates -- Culpepper, McNown, Bishop, Williams, etc.

So, who do you think should win the Heisman and why?

Tim Couch, Kentucky Wildcats... or Donavan McNabb at Syracuse.

But what I'd really like is to see the committee reconsider last years decision and give a belated trophy to Payton Manning instead of that defensive back that no one remembers...

» Chuck - My thoughts...

Earlier this season, I would have given my vote to Cade McNown of UCLA. But recently, McNown has been playing a bad game every game only to pull it out in the end.

Williams is a good pick, only his team hasn't enjoyed a lot of success. Will that hurt him? It shouldn't, but it probably will.

I think the frontrunner right now is Michael Bishop of Kansas State. If K-State can beat Nebraska and Bishop has a decent game, then he's the one to watch.
