This is an excellent article on the Dare to be Mediocre approach to basketball. Interesting how strategy has largely left the court and gone into salary caps and positioning ones team for the lottery. I guess this is a large part of why I've lost interest in any particular team. I enjoy watching the games but the players could all be nameless and teamless as far as I'm concerned, I'd just like for the sides to be evenly matched and actually trying to win. I trust there are a few actual lions for you to cover in Part 2.
