American Sycamore TreesRead the article this discussion is about
This archived discussion is "read only". » Renie_Burghardt - Re: your favorite tree... In response to message posted by Red:Mary, I'd love to have your company under the sycamore. What fun we would have! I love weeping willows as well. Well, I love all trees. Weeping willows are not too common in the Ozarks, although people do have them in their yards. I love to hear about your memories of your Grandpa's farm! I'll be in touch soon, Mary. Have very special company until next Wednesday. All is well otherwise. I hope all is well with you and yours. Hope it has cooled off some in Canada. It's mighty hot in the Ozarks! Take care! -- posted by Renie_Burghardt » Red - Re: Re: your favorite tree... In response to message posted by Renie_Burghardt:
It is very hot here as well. It hit 116 with the humidex today. Good thing there was a breeze, or we would have baked. Have fun with your "special" company. Hope to talk to you soon. -- posted by Red » Dubh_Sidhe - Trees I love all trees, too, even the ones that "make a mess." And I dearly love Crepe Myrtle and Mimosa. I don't know that I could ever recognize a Sycamore Tree. I think we have them here, though.-- posted by Dubh_Sidhe » Renie_Burghardt - Re: Re: Re: your favorite tree... In response to message posted by Red:Hi Mary, it has cooled off here some, so that we could enjoy ome outdoor time, while my company is here. The "special" company is three years old, and she is adorable! I'll be in touch later this week, after they leave. Thanks for coming by. Hope it has cooled off some in Ontario! -- posted by Renie_Burghardt » Renie_Burghardt - Re: Trees In response to message posted by Dubh_Sidhe:Oh, Virginia, I love Mimosa trees, and Crepe Myrtle, although that one is a shrub, around here. So nice to see you around again. Have missed you! -- posted by Renie_Burghardt » Renie_Burghardt - Re: I loved reading about In response to message posted by jerrib:Hi Jerri! How are you? I hope things are going well. Maybe one day, you and Mary and I can all take a boat ride on the Current River, and pull in under that huge sycamore, and share a peaceful moment or two together. Maybe even Tina could join us. Hehe. That would be a lovely experience. My company just left this morning, and I'm already feeling lonesome! Thanks so much for coming by, my friend. Take care! -- posted by Renie_Burghardt » Renie_Burghardt - Re: Hugging In response to message posted by roslinds:Hey Roslind, it's a good feeling to hug a tree, isn't it? -- posted by Renie_Burghardt Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
