Wow Renie,
That was beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes. It also brought tinges of guilt, for I tend not to think too hard of my mother.
I loved my mother dearly, no mistake but its being 24 years since she passed away, and I had already distanced myself from her since I was 12.

Even as a mother myself I don't really expect my children to really appreciate or understand a mothers love untill they themselfs are parents. Then sometimes its too late. Hopefully I will hang around long enough.

Thankyou for sharing such a beautiful- yet sad part of your life. I was very touched by it.
