One of the most interesting and beautiful places I've ever visited is Loray Caverns in Virginia.

Most of Ontario is on the Canadian Shield, which is some of the oldest granite bedrock in the world, so there aren't any caves. But here in the South end of the province we have a few small ones. I've explored some along the Niagara Escarpment, which is a limestone formation. In an article last fall I included several photos of the interesting geological features of this area. One shows my daughter outside the mouth of a small sea cave on Georgian Bay. I hope you'll check this article, Renie...the scenery is breathtaking!
