I haven't tried many pear recipes, but last year I did try baked pears using a baked apple recipe. It was delicious. Unfortunately -- thanks to an invasion of army worms this Spring -- you can count on two hands my harvest. But these survivors are the biggest I can remember seeing. At least I won't be running around frantically trying to harvest all I can. Whew! I've got to scale back my harvest time ambitions! -- posted by Linda_Wilson
