this replaced as one of my top five favorite poems. Thanks, Renie, for eloquently describing the solace to be found in nature. As I've been hiking with my daughter this year, I believe she's caught my wild enthusiasm for the wonders of the great outdoors. Or perhaps hers has rekindled mine. I hope that as she grows up she never forgets the joy there is outside, all around. I know why you visited those trees. Thanks for sharing them here. ~ Diane
