» A1_Viking - Hi Renie!

Hi Renie! I LOVE those photos! How beautiful! How wonderful to live surrounded by this nature! And pretty good for your first attempt - put it this way, if you hadn't said anything, I wouldn't have known it was your first try with the camera! Okay, so I'm no photographer - but I thought they were pretty good!
I'm taking time out form work - I'm having Suite101 withdrawal symptoms! Ha ha! I miss reading my favourite columns, so I figured, so what if it means I have to sit up to 4 o'clock in the morning... I deserve a break! So here I am! And I'm glad I came!
smile
Luv Donna

Hi Donna! Four o'clock in the morning? Wow! That is so sweet of you. I'm glad you enjoyed the photos, and came by. All work and no play on the Suite, makes life a bit harder, no? Hehe.

Thank you for coming by. I appreciate it. Warm wishes. Renie

» Nichel - I love your article and pictures!!

Hey Renie!!

I love your article, as always. I am so glad today I have the time to surf around and catch up on my reading. I love your gallery the pictures are so beautiful and your description along with your detailed information on each flower was very well done!

I really love your Hibiscus and the Blooming Wildflowers not to mention the butterfly; it was such a nice photo.

I have been trying to decide on getting me a ditigal camera but I'm afraid I won't know how to use it with my PC. But seeing that you are an expert now, I guess I can shoot you some questions..he..he..he..

Well, I hope you are doing well, I can't wait for your next gallery of pictures and an interesting article. smile smile

Best Wishes,

Hey Nichel! So nice to see you here again! How have you been? The digital camera is easy to use with the computer. They have a disc that you take out of the camera and put in the computer. It's as simple as that.

It's been a stormy day in my neck of the woods today, so I haven't been on the puter much. Thanks for coming by and always encouraging words. I appreciate it, my friend. Take care! Renie

Hi Renie, well now, what wonderful pictures. I have a digital camera too and love it. I want to tell you, we have Butterfly Weed in the north pasture. I didn't know that was the name of it though. I've learned something. Wonder if I can dig some up and move it to my yard? When they cut the hay they always cut it down. Same with the Milkweed and I hate that but then the cows have to eat in the winter. Do you think I could move some of it into the yard? We have Trumphet Vine growing everywhere. I've considered moving some of it too. I have hummingbirds everywhere. I enjoy them so much.
Wonderful article and keep taking those pictures. Be sure and take it with you whenever you go for a walk in the woods. You never know what you might sneek up on. Hugs...

Hi Bertha, nice to see you! Butterfly weed is very difficult to transplant, but you can collect the seeds and plant those, and it will come up. It takes a couple of years for it to really get established and bloom, but well worth the wait. Milkweed should also be planted by seed, and is easy to grow that way.

I take my camera with me everywhere, Bertha. The other day I saw a gray fox, but he was too fast for me and my camera!

Thanks so much for visiting. Hope you're doing great. Take care. Renie

Hey Mary, come on over, and we'll walk the woods together! Yes, I love my digital camera, and am thinking of getting a better one as well. But my Mavica is pretty good, and so easy to work with.

Nice to see you again, Mary. Hope you're doing great Thanks for visiting. Renie
