Hi Nancy, great to see you here again! Yes, I lug the hibiscus into the sun room in the fall, and at first, it loses its leaves, due to the transfer indoors. But it quickly recovers, grows new leaves, and begins blooming indoors throughout the winter. I have one huge one that stays indoors all year. The things is 7 feet tall, and still growing. Your hibiscus will have a hard time lasting, if you leave it outdoors, Nancy. But maybe if you insulate it well. I don't know. Since it's a tropical plant, it doesn't like cold weather.
