Love your gallery photos too! The deer photos remind me of where we sometimes go camping. Bunches of deer come right up and eat corn from your hand.

Hi Joy, I'm not that good of a photographer either, but a digital camera makes it so much easier to take fairly decent pictures. I love my camera! Thank you for visiting. Talk to you soon. Renie

I love to take pictures of the deer, Joy. They come pretty close here, too, but I have never tried to feed them out of my hand. Bucky's mother has new twin fawns. Can't wait to capture them on film! I'm so glad you enjoyed my first pictures, Joy. Take care. Renie

Absolutely beautiful Renie. My efforts with a digital camera aren't nearly as good as yours. I'm going to try holding my breath next time. Thanks for the tip.
All the best

Hi Renie,

Even though my natural tendency is to sleep in (I think I could clock 12 hours a night if allowed), early morning is my favorite time of day. Two hungry cats make sure I awaken bright and early, however, to take advantage of the quiet (people) traffic and the awakening bird and critter traffic. If I had in my back yard the gorgeous scenery that you have captured, I'd be tempted to get up even earlier. Thanks for the lovely photos and informative descriptions.

» RosemaryBasil - Congratulations! Hip Hip Hooray Renie!

This is just great! You got your digital, and what wonderful pix! I say for a beginner you did excellent--the trumpet vine and the butterfly are amazing! And I enjoyed your tour, the medicinal info was fascinating. I grow hibiscus and have written about it but didn't have that info, thanx, I may have to quote you!
I bet, knowing you, you are havin a ball with this, like a little kid with a new toy or someone who has just had their sight restored. I know I was. Makes you really STOP and look at things doesn't it?
I can't hold my breath long hehe but I did write an article someplace with some tips it was called Shoot Flowers not Guns, lol

Look forward to many more, Renie!

hugs and nature photos,

Hi Glenice, well, my efforts still need much improvement. But perhaps I will get better with time. Yes, try holding your breath, and see if you get better results. I did with the succeeding pictures, and I think they came out less fuzzy. Thanks so much for coming by. Renie

Hi Pamela! Yes, hungry cats and dogs, and I have both, get you out of bed, don't they? My Rottweiler lunges against the side of my bed, if I'm not up early, and it feels like and earthquake is in progress! It will get me up pretty quickly. Hehe. But I am a morning person anyway. Thank you for coming by. It really pleases me that people are enjoying my first efforts of digital photography, and I'm delighted that you enjoyed the article. Renie

Hi Rosemary! Yep, you got that right, I'm in love with my digital camera! I know you grow hibiscus, and you take some amazing flower photos. I'll check out your tips for sure. Yeah, I'd rather shoot flowers than guns, my friend, and animals and trees and hills, and dales, and...well, you know what I mean. hehe. Thanks so much for coming by this morning. Appreciate it. Flowery hugs to you, too! Renie
