Besides, I don't think you need to lose any weight. Try the Reddi Whip with strawberries. No worry with those. Thanks for coming by. Have a great time in Virginia Beach! xoxoxo -- posted by Renie_Burghardt » Dubh_Sidhe - Peach Cheesecake The peach cheesecake came out wonderful. It did not last long. As with apples and grapes, I seem to traverse the globe. The peaches came from South Africa!I will try to make another recipe soon. Thanks for sharing them, Renie. -- posted by Dubh_Sidhe » Renie_Burghardt - Re: Re: Re: Yum Grape Pie In response to message posted by Ixia:Mr. Bill, what a pleasant surprise to see you here! Has been a long time. The lillium seeds you sent me are doing great. Well, I wish you could use something other than sugar in the recipe, but I'm afraid sugar is all I know that will work well. My concord grapes are almost ready, so I'll be tempted to make a pie, even though I'm on a diet! Thanks so much for visiting. And the peaches I buy are usually local. I like Arkansas peaches, actually. My peaches aren't quite ready yet, but soon. I know the peach cheesecake is yummy, and the trick is to use very ripe peaches. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for coming by. Besides, I'm sure you could get a friend or your Mom to make you one of them. You will enjoy the pie, I'm sure. So nice to see you again, Steve. Take care. It was a lot of fun to make and it tasted wonderful. My sister came over and she said that I'd better cut her a piece myself, because otherwise she would just stand there and eat the whole thing! Thanks for the great recipe Renie! -- posted by kcruver » Renie_Burghardt - Re: Sounds yummy! In response to message posted by silvan:It is yummy, Silvan. Hope you get to try it. Thanks for coming by. Renie -- posted by Renie_Burghardt » Renie_Burghardt - Re: Re: Re: Peach Cheesecake? In response to message posted by kcruver:Hi Kendahl! I'm so glad you and your sister enjoyed the peach cheesecake. That recipe goes back to the fifties, and came from a friend of my grandmother. However, the original recipe called for canned peaches. And in the winter, when no fresh peaches are available, it is good that way. But I decided to try it with the fresh, very sweet ripe peaches, and it's even better with them. Hey, you can eat lots of cheesecake. You'll be going on a 60 mile walk soon! See ya.
