» ahunter - Guinea Pig Chosen! In response to message posted by Renie_Burghardt:This Saturday, I'll have a guinea pig! My best friend and I looked at ones over the past couple weeks. Early this week, I finally decided on a dark, multi-colored, tousled-hair female guinea pig. She turns four-weeks-old this Friday and so I can pick her up this weekend. Her cage is half-prepared and I'm already a nervous new "mom"! Actually, there's a whole story I could tell about my decision to get a pet. For example, until a week ago, I lived in an apartment that did NOT allow pets. I suspect my next friendship article will be about this story.... -- posted by ahunter
