Unusual Symptoms of PregnancyRead the article this discussion is about

» debng - Symptoms I read this article with great interest. Even though my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for quite a long time, I wasn't sure if the symptoms I experienced were really symptoms of pregnancy. My breasts too are very "veiny," after questioning my husband and getting a shrug, I decided that maybe it was my imagination. I was also very weepy and couldn't watch any movie that wasn't a comedy. The biggest sign was the "flulike" symptoms that I couldn't shake after two weeks. I finally took a home test and am happy to report that I am 12 weeks pregnant with our first child. The uncomfortable symptoms are forgotten as the cause is worth it. I am 7 months pregnant, and started feeling right away at about week 3 as if I was going deaf. It got a bit worse recently so I asked my doctor if she could please check for a wax build up. She looked in my ear and said my sinuses were swollen, a normal side effect of pregnancy. Most women feel a bit stuffy in their head, or get nose bleeds, or just feel like they have a cold. My swollen sinuses have manifested themselves by cutting off my hearing. This is quite a good symptom really, since about 1/2 of what I hear I don't want to anyway! -- posted by Jojo » mrsthopter - re:symptoms I have been very gaseous lately with the belching and the other region; also I have been nauseous from time to time. I usually have a period before I'm ready for it. Last one started the 11th of March, and the one before that started February 19th. As of yet I haven't started or even done my usual spot a few days here and there before it shows up. I was hoping to start tryin to concieve this month, but I'm not sure what's going on. I have taken four pregnancy tests so far all of which came back negative, unless I just took them all too early. In all my life I have never missed a period unless I was pregnant nor have I ever been late. Strange this happens now, since I want my period to show up so I can start trying.-- posted by mrsthopter
