If your article had appeared when our children were preschoolers, my wife and I (I'm retired) might have been tempted to try running an in-home daycare; that is, if we could have figured out what to do with our two dogs when the children were here. Unfortunately, both of our children are in school now and so my wife would prefer to get a job outside the home.
