Good survey of attachment parenting, Sara. I'm looking forward to reading more articles by you on it.

I noticed that you included two websites on attachment parenting in your Links. Another that visitors might find useful is Heike Boehnke's archived Attachment Parenting topic at Suite101.com.

Hi Sara,

this is a great article! My little boy is six weeks old and everything you've talked about in your article is what I've been doing with him, I didn't know it had a name! smile

He is a very happy and content baby, which keeps his mom happy and content ;)

I'm also looking forward to reading more articles as i raise my baby. And I think I'll check out some of your book recommendations.

Thanks!
Anne

I'm glad you liked the article. I highly recommend the books, "The Continuum Concept," by Jean Liedloff and "The Attachment Parenting Book," by William Sears.
