» rahunter_nf - My Experience as an Attachment Father

Another practical and well-written article, Sara.

I doubt that I was an "attachment father" during the early years of my first child (now 35), my having just changed jobs, but I was with my second and third (now 8 and 6 1/2).

I seem to have a closer bond with my 8-year-old than with my 6 1/2-year-old. Possibly the reason is all the time that he and I spent together while my 6 1/2-year-old was in her mother and was an infant.

Keep up the great work.

» biogardener - Attachment Parenting

When I saw the title of your article in the Health Community, I thought that someone had finally adopted one of my favorite topics at Suite101, Attachment Parenting. Your writing would have fit in very nicely with Heike's, and it would have been a nice blend from two sides of the equation, the mother's and the father's. Too bad!

So welcome to Suite101.

I have written quite a bit on the subject as well, and from the same angle under the topic of Natural Health and I continue writing on it under my new topic of Healing Hug. Come and visit some time.
