...but in a good way! I agree that children's individuality must be respected and fostered....respecting children as individuals who are in control of themselves (not to be coerced), and trusting them to look out for their own safety
My question, I guess, would be how to live this out practically, especially in the inner cities, where society is counting on the fact that children are not trusted to look out for their own safety?
