A lot of lessons to be learned for all of us.IMO Mark Rashid is one of the best trainers around and one of the few that uses his head in conjunction with his heart. Your filly will forgive you; we had a similar experience some years ago and our boy 'forgave' us. But you are also correct when you state she will never forget, Leo has a permanent fear of the person that handled him badly to the extent that we had to change yards to get away from her influence on his daily life.
