I have heard nurses talk of a higher incidence of mental problems over the full moon. I haven't personally experienced it, but seems the medical profession notices!

Yes Jerri,

I used to be on a chat program for awhile and everytime we had weirdos in messing around and playing up it was a fall moon. It started becoming a joke after awhile.

Rosetta, the proverb says that knowledge is power, and you can use the knowledge you have to your advantage. The full moon does not affect my own emotions, but I do keep track of when it occurs so I can stay out of the firing line of people who have a problem at that time of the month. I have a calendar on the wall which shows the new and full moon days. You and your husband could do the same thing. Then both of you could make up your minds not to engage in any kind of stressful activity at that time. You could instead plan the kind of activities which you know will relax you the most. If necessary, your husband may adopt a defensive attitude of not responding to your lousy moods and maybe leaving the room or the house when things get really bad.

You could also do something for yourself which I find helpful when I am upset with someone. I write an email to that person and save it in draft. Then I look at it again the next day and then delete it without ever letting the other person see it. It helps my mental health without upsetting anyone else. Try it.
