» biogardener - wasp bite
Last night, I must have brought in a wasp along with some garden produce. I felt a painful sting on one finger and when I shook it, the wasp landed on the bed. I cut a strip of plastic from a bag, applied wet clay to it, wrapped it around my finger and covered all of it with several rounds of a wide masking tape. It makes the best bandages.
Wasp stings are wicked, although not quite as bad as bumble bee stings. It took a good hour before the pain subsided. Then I kept the bandage on all night and am applying another one tonight, because I feel some itching, so there is some poison left in it.
