I have had a look at your profile. And I was glad to see that you have a family history of herbalism and holistic living. I am glad to meet a person like you. I am sorry, I have forgotten to introduce myself. I am Dr. Ajit Kumar Nayak, the author of the article "Arjuna, the Panacea of Heart Disease." I have a degree in Botany and another one in in Ayurvedic medicine and surgery, called BAMS. Perhaps you are aware that Ayurveda deals with the herbs and minerals etc. It is the Indian system of Medicine. -- posted by biogardener » Monheit_Law_PC - Follow-up In response to Follow-up posted by biogardener:I could not help but to respond to this post, and I am fond of the Gita and the story of Arjuna. What had led me to this post was a search for the relationship between the cardiac drug Trasylol (which is used in open heart surgery) and an increase in the risk of kidney failure. I am interested in learning more about your book. Is there a web site where I can read about it? Do you address issues like Kidney Failure From Cardiac Surgery Drugs or other causes of kidney failure during cardiac surgery? From an Ayurvedic standpoint, is there anything one can do if they need to have heart surgery to protect against kidney failure? -- posted by Monheit_Law_PC » biogardener - Suggestion I doubt that the originator of the original message is checking this discussion thread, so I suggest you go to his website and try to contact him from that to get answers to your questions.-- posted by biogardener
