» Giants02122 - Bobby Hamilton Jr. didn't deserve bad rap...

I totally dissagree with you on Bobby Hamilton Jr. Hamilton Jr., shouldn't have gotten into the ride in the first place. PPI, was not getting the job done by themselves. Don't get me wrong, changing manufactors not once, twice but three times within a course of 4 years. That's an up hill battle.

Ricky Craven, Ford and Yates motors was the best thing that ever happened to PPI, and they know it. Hamilton Jr. can drive, but he needs a little bit of a better surroundings than this. I think that if he drove for Bobby Hamilton Racing in the NEXTEL Cup Series, things would be a lot better.

Hamilton Jr., has a long learning curve. The last time he was in a Cup car was in 2002. Lots of things have changed, and I for one don't see why PPI would waste their money on a driver who hasn't really proven himself on the Cup level at one point. He ran some races I believe in 2004 with Team Rensi, and didn't do great, so is it the driver or the teams he has run for?

Beats me, but I liked to blame Hamilton Jr.'s teams and himself. Lets not get into the teams he has driven for and why they aren't first class teams.

Thats my take.
