» Red - interesting...

Dina,

I'm always ready to hear a ghost story. The history of Nantucket is interesting to say the least. One day I will have to visit. I would love to walk through the Old North Cemetery. Sounds like an interesting place to visit.

I enjoyed my visit here. Thanks for the great article.

Hi Red! Lovely to hear from you. Thank you for your kind words. The cemeteries in Nantucket are truly wonderful. Don't miss the old Quaker cemetery too. I neglected to mention in my article, but it is reputedly haunted as well. I think you would love Nantucket, in general. smile

Very interesting article, i did enjoy it. I should tell you though, Nantucket has far more ghosts than isusually allowed to be believed. I know because I have lived here for 30 years and have recently written my own book about it called Gray Spirits which is due out on Memorial Day of 2005. My Name Is William Alexander and I also run a ghost tour called The Nantucket Haunted Hike. Sadly, the Nantucket Ghost Walk is out of business for about 2 years now. Anyone who would like to speak more of this subject, i openly invite to email or call me at hauntedhike@hotmail.com or 508-292-0164. I'd love to hear from you and discuss the topic that has become my recent life's work!
