Great article. Wish I had it for my trip to Nantucket last summer!

I flew over--NEVER AGAIN...I pride myself on being a really good flyer, I love small aircraft, but the air is really rough around Nantucket, what with the sea air causing big ole pockets of turbulence. My seatbelt was broken and my seat was barely attached to the floor. I bounced around like nobody's business, and it was thoroughly unpleasant. By the way, I flew Cape Air.

On the way back from the island my sister and I took the fast ferry...a very pleasant experience indeed. We didn't experience any problems getting on, but once we got to Hyannis we had a nightmare time trying to get a taxi to the bus station (where we caught a bus to Boston for the rest of our trip).

But as always, Nantucket's a charming place and it was a trip worth the travel
