Anyone read the new book "When They Severed Earth From Sky - How the Human mind Shapes Myth", by E. and P. Barber; Princeton 2005? The authors, one a linguistics and archaeology professor, the other with a museum, has the words "human mind" inI was disappointed that there was no link to findings that the brain of humans is like a neural net that, in addition to being able to do recursive thinking and to have memory, can make inferences about the present and the future. Out of such a brain may come myth.
