I haven't taken the time to do any home-made instruments. I'm just happy if my students can score a melody or do well on their rhythmic dictation tests. :-) But maybe I'll be brave and try something like this before the end of the year.With the 5th graders enjoying their recorder lessons and the first and second graders enjoying their circle games and movement songs, I guess that leaves my trustworthy 3rd graders to go for the homemade gusto. Wish me luck. ;-)
